Now the Google-owned platform has plans to host its first "YouTube Music Awards" event on Nov. 3, according to officials.
Several high-profile artists—including Lady Gaga, Eminem and Arcade Fire—have agreed to perform, as well as celebrity YouTube creators, in New York, Seoul, Moscow, London and Brazil, according to the company. Top talent will be working behind the scenes, too. Spike Jonze is the event's creative director; Vice is a producer."
